What We Do

Our Mission

Broadly stated, our mission is: “To create vibrant cultural spaces that spark dialogue, celebrate artistry, and strengthen community.”

The India Love Sunflower Foundation plans to achieve this through a variety of events, including:

Regularly Occurring Events:

• Ask A Therapist Nights: Q & A and information session with a local therapist to learn about accessing mental health support services.

• American Sign Language (ASL) Meet and Greet Chat: Free, monthly gatherings to support the deaf community.

• Death Café: Coffee and conversations about life, death, and everything in-between.

• Open Mic Nights (2nd & 4th Thursday of each month): Community artists gather to share songs and lift spirits through music.

• Poetry & Songwriting Workshops& Open Mics: Local established and budding poets and songwriters connecting to workshop and share their passion through music and poetry.

• Community Movie Nights: Monthly movie showings, hand-selected by our own community business owners. Designed to foster community building and inform about existing community spaces and supports.

• Craft Club: Thursdays from 12:30 - 2:30 PM: Free, weekly family-friendly craft workshops and fellowship, organized by local community artists.
